Not only is there furniture, mirrors and lamps available at the best sale of the year but also unique artwork, sculpture pieces, knick knacks, glassware, etc.

As I was taking photos today this beauty jumped out at me as I was walking out the door. Again, the photo does not do it justice but you get the idea.

Mirror, mirror on the wall who has the greatest sale of them all?

I am not exaggerating when I say there are mirrors of every size and style left at Caron Fabre.


All reasonably priced and ready to come on with you and ready for your wall. I will honestly admit my current favorite is the art deco one up in the top right corner. I promise you my poor photography does it no justice. You must come and check it out in person.

The sale runs for 1 more day (Sunday 12-5) this weekend but the doors will be open again soon. Stay tuned for further details and times. Or just leave us a comment if you are interested in setting up a private tour of the space. You will not be disappointed.

Can I get some light?

In my humble opinion today's trends in lighting are pretty dull in comparison to the lamps of yesteryear. As I was taking photos in attempt to capture all of the different styles, shapes, sizes and wattage I was overwhelmed to say the least. The photos above are just a sampling of some of the goodies found.




Not liking the shade that comes with your rockin new lamp? No biggie there are a billion (slight exaggeration) other shapes and styles to choose from. Or if you are looking for a way to spice up a pre-existing light fixture? This would be an affordable way to do so.

Welcome to the Caron-Fabre closing up shop for good blog spot. Now you might be asking yourself why an occasion such as this needs to be documented and the answer is...THE UNIQUE FINDS AND TREASURES. This business had been open for many, many years and there is essentially a warehouse full of odds and ends, furniture, artwork, lamps, fabrics, etc that has never been owned. I will repeat that, NEVER BEEN OWNED, sometimes items that have never been unwrapped or out of the box. So attention all antique dealers, vintage decorators, kitch lovers, furniture historians, and those in general need of home furnishings you need to come check this out.

We will be open every other weekend starting this weekend ( Thursday, July 15th - Sunday, July 18th) for the remainder of the summer. Hours this weekend are Thursday-Saturday 11-630, and Sunday 12-5.
